Description / Overview

Bundles the Pierce Metal Enhanced DAB Substrate Kit with all components needed to stain, counterstain, and preserve results on frozen or paraffin tissue sections. DAB color intensified via metals (nickel, copper, silver, cobalt) forming denser complexes with HRP-peroxide substrate reactions — 50x more sensitive than traditional DAB, 30x more sensitive than other metal-intensified DAB versions. Produces a near-black, easily photographed precipitate. Working solution stable 6+ hours at room temperature (vs immediate-use for other DAB substrates). Compatible with direct or avidin-biotin-complex (ABC) probing strategies.
